When the V3 Helmet first hit the market I was one on the lucky ones be first to own one. I have been using it ever since. I have only had to replace the visor with the spare supplied to keep it looking new.
When Scott, the Fox product manager rang me and asked it I'd like to test the new 2010 Carbon Fibre V3 I was like a pig in the proverbial.
This Helmet does not disappoint it features smart venting with 10 intakes and 4 exhaust ports to ensure a steady stream of cool air flows around your nugget. The are designed so resist any roost hetting into the intakes as well.
The v3 is noticeably lighter than its predecessor at 1.3kg's made from composite Carbon Fibre, Kevlar and Fibreglass it's also reassuringly strong in its construction. The coolmax lining is designed to wick the sweat away from your body and all the lining components are removable and washable.
This is a very comfortable helmet to wear and provides excellent peripheral vision. The graphics are very stylish with the underlying carbon fibre becoming part of the overall design it's just too cool for school.
I would readily recommend this helmet to anyone who is serious about light weight and functionality.
