Pod MX, the PodMx knee brace has to experienced to understand how well these things work.
I, like many riders that have been riding since we were standing on milk crates to start the YZ80F have had many big hits to the knees.
Combine that with High School Football and a I'm the next Mr Motocross stint in local your MX club and you have your typical Aussie Dicky Knee.
The solution wear a knee brace.
Though I have never found one I can comfortably ride a bike all day with. But all that changed with the entry of the POD MX Knee Brace.....
I've worn just about every knee brace on the market over my 30 odd years of riding and I have never felt totally comfortable in any of them. I like to grip the bike with my knees and feel the flex and twists.
No I'm not Chad Reed but all the more the bike and I need the feedback that makes us one unit. Every knee brace I've ever worn had made me feel like there is a flange between rider and machine. It made me feel like a spare wheel not part of the process.

The Pod MX is a new design concept in knee brace technology , light and comfortable, the body of the brace is made of a carbon fibre composite construction. The lining is very comfortable and the padding is in all the right places.
The patella cap is large and very tough and provides plenty of protection for your knees. The pivot on the side of the knee brace has been totally redesigned and incorporates a thermo-plastic polyurethane core (TPU Tendon) that simulates a tendon or ligament, so the brace pivots freely.
In the advent of a big crash the TPU Tendon takes the force of the impact and unlike other braces if the TPU Tendon is damaged it can be replaced. The TPU tendon has a built in wear meter in the pivot of the brace so you can see if it is damaged or needs replacing .
I found these things were just like wearing the Fox Raptor Knee Guards and still allowed for the feel of the bike and no discomfort gripping the the Bike with my knees. No pressure points or sore spots, a comfortable cool liner that allows for air to flow freely through the brace. Movement was free and easy and no trouble fitting inside my Tech-8's and Fox 360's

Then print it out on an A4 piece of paper and then trace it onto some stiff cardboard. The fit should be just loose over your jeans.
