2009 Australian Offroad E3 Champion Geoff Braico has teamed up with Husaberg for 2010. He will contest the Australian Offroad Championship, the Austalian Four Day Enduro as well as the NSW Enduro season aboard a FE570.
“I am stoked to be given the opportunity to race for Husaberg in 2010. I am hoping to retain my E3 championship and aim to improve my Outright standing for 2010”.
After winning 7 of the 10 E3 AORC rounds in 2009, and finishing as the top Privateer for 2009 (10th Outright), this will be Geoff's first year as a
factory-backed rider.
“I have been riding as a Privateer and working full-time ever since I started in the Pro class in '06, so the Husaberg deal is something that I have been
striving for, for a long time. Jeff Leisk from KTM Australia has been a big help with my racing and when he approached me to ride a Berg, I jumped
at the opportunity.
I am lucky enough to also keep all my existing personal sponsors for 2010.
Most of them have been with me for many years and to have all of them on board again is unreal. They are great people and I hope to bring them home another E3 title. I'm really looking forward to the 2010 season” Geoff's first race on the new machinery is the opening rounds of the AORC on the 13/14th of March at Port Macquarie.
