 DESCRIPTION OF CONDITIONS

 

-          Lots of hills

 

-          Wet and slippery both days

 

-          Perfect clay as the days went on

 

-          Went from tight single track to flowing third gear trails

 

 

 

“The final two rounds of the Victorian Off-Road Championship took place at Noojee, and the conditions plus the track were perfect after heavy rain leading up to the event,” said Blake Hore.  “After walking the two competitive tracks I knew that I was in for some good long challenging tests and great racing.

 

 

“I started off well on day one with a second place in the first test, and continued to hold this position for the rest of the weekend. The Husaberg FE 450 was faultless and everything was really flowing for me - although I tried hard to catch series leader, and eventual winner, Daniel Milner the closest I managed was a 0.4 second gap in the final heat of the year.

 

“I enjoyed the racing, and I was happy to achieve a podium position at both final rounds. For the overall Championship I placed fourth, just missing out on a podium. Still it was a great season and awesome experience for the Nationals. A big thanks goes out to both team and personal sponsors for a great ride.”
