Competitors have until Monday, 31 August 2009, to register for the Honda Australian Junior Motocross Championships which are taking place at the Newry Motocross Complex from 26 September – 3 October.
Supplementary Regulations and Entry Forms are available for download from MA’s dedicated event web page at

The Maffra Sale Motorcycle Club, promoters and hosts of the Championships, are also calling for any persons wishing to assist as a volunteer for the event, while opportunities still exist for potential sponsors or trade stalls to come on board.
“An event this size requires a tremendous amount of planning, and the Club has been planning for the event since May last year,” Club President Mark Tyquin said.
“Improvements to the track and facilities are right on target, and we have received a tremendous amount of support and advice from organisations such as Honda Australia, Motorcycling Australia and Wellington Shire Council - along with many other organisations and businesses - that are supporting us through their presence at the event.
“We are still seeking sponsorship and we still a few places left in the trade stall area,” Tyquin continued, “if anyone is interested please contact us.
“We are also still seeking volunteers that would like to contribute to the successful running of this event - you do not have to be part of the Motocross community to do this, so anyone that is interested please give us a call.”
