After a weekend break for most of the World Championship riders in the MX classes, everybody heads for Mallory Park which is the venue for the 7th round in the FIM MX World Championship.

Last year Jonathan Barragan, Ken de Dycker and David Philippaerts climbed onto the podium but will they manage to do this again this year? It's hard to tell as Antonio Cairoli has emerged from a solid MX2 rider to a very tough competitor and championship leader in the MX1 class.

And of course with Mikael Pichon returning to the championship as replacement rider for Honda, it will be tough to make any prognoses for this weekends' races.

While this is the case in the MX1 class, in MX2 the cards aren't dealt in any other way. All 3 podium riders from last year are out of this years' MX2 championship. So Rui Goncalves may achieve another podium but it won't be without a struggle as the new boy on the block, #94 Ken Roczen, has shown that he's for real and will try and confirm in Mallory Park.

But so will the French boys Marvin Musqvin, Gautier Paulin, Xavier Boog and Boissiere....

And, who knows, maybe Zach Osborne will already on a high enough level to make it even more difficult for everybody...
