Leading enduro racer, Tom McCormack, has further stepped-up his commitment to boosting exposure for his sponsors and sport with the launch of his new website.

McCormack, 17, is quickly establishing himself among the fastest off-road racers in the country, with top finishes in the Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship and NSW Sprint Championship E1 Classes and the Pro All Powers Class in Queensland events.

“I’m really proud of my new website, www.tommccormackracing.com,” McCormack said.

“My casual clothing sponsor, Dirt ID, did a great job with the site and I’m very excited to be wearing their awesome clothes and now to be represented by a site they built on the World Wide Web.

“I think it’s really important to provide the public with up-to-date info on our sport and I hope my site will help continue to grow awareness and recognition of enduro in the community.

“When people visit my website they’ll get to check out what I’ve been up to, how I’ve been doing in races, what races are on my calendar and find info about my fantastic sponsors.

“My website will be updated regularly and also has a lot of pictures of me racing and my bikes, a Bio section and Media Coverage section.

“Experienced PR company, Shooting Star Media, is continuing to handle my PR and write and distribute media releases from every race.

“This has lead to me being featured in dozens of stories on radio, local and national TV and newspapers.

“Examples of this media coverage can also be found on my website and will be updated throughout the 2011 season as Shooting Star Media will again be handling my PR.”

Tom, who has been competing this season on a new YZ250F, will try his hand at natural terrain motocross on both his 250 and a YZ450F in Pro Lites and Open at Conondale this Sunday.

Tom’s next national race will be the final rounds of the 2010 Yamaha Australian Off-Road Championship (AORC) being held at Cherrabah Resort (near Warwick) on September 4th and 5th. For more info go to www.aorcracing.com.au

Tom McCormack is the youngest rider to go straight to the pro class in Queensland enduro racing. He is current Yamaha Junior Queensland Enduro Champion, Yamaha SEQ Enduro Series winner and is ranked second in the country for Junior Off-Road racers.

Tom’s ultimate goal is to make the sport he loves his profession and become the fastest in Australia.
