This weekend’s 2010 Elliotts Landscape Supplies Central Coast Cup meeting at Somersby has been washed out.
Torrential rain on Saturday morning was the final straw as Central Coast Junior Motor Cycle Club Inc. officials battled to get the track in a raceable condition.
Those hit hardest by the washout were the Queensland riders who had traveled from as far away as the Whitsunday region.
Club President David Smith said that the club will talk to Motorcycling New South Wales officials next week with a view to arranging a replacement date for the meeting prior to the end of the year.
