Lee Hogan’s Honda backed ‘Girls on the Gas’ competition is back for 2010 with high hopes to source out some of the best female riders Australia has to offer.
In its fifth year running the Honda ‘Girls on the Gas’ competition has been a huge success earning itself a great reputation Australia wide.
The ‘Girls on the Gas’ competition has seen many familiar faces along side a vast variety of new comers to the sport, travelling far and wide to gain experience and go head to head with some of the best female athletes that Australia has to offer.
“Last years Honda ‘Girls on the Gas’ competition was fierce and exciting!” said Director Lee Hogan.
“The skill level produced by these girls in each state amazed us and it was no surprise that the big final showdown at the end of the year came right down to the wire.”
Living up to its expectations the Honda ‘Girls on the Gas’ competition offers the big winner a ‘kick-start’ to their career in motocross with a very respectable sponsorship package.
Some of these include sponsorship from Honda Motorcycles, Fox Clothing, Fuchs Silkolene Oils and Red Bull energy drinks.
Girls of all ages are welcome to enter and ride at their state’s event. Girls must be a minimum of 13 years old to be eligible for the ‘Girls on The Gas’ competition judging.
The dates and locations for each state event will be announced in coming days.
